variety of industries. Job Summary:This position will lead sales
and operations planning activities, manage a team of production
planners, coordinate schedules, inventories, and issuance of
manufacturing jobs to ensure efficient and effective on time
delivery to customers while continuously auditing processes. This

and update sales and operations process for accurate forecasting,
revenue forecasting, capacity planning, and lead time
planning.Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with
relevant stakeholders. Ensure close communication with main
stakeholders from Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Program Management
and Supply Chain pertinent to requirements and
impacts.Production-planning oversight, scheduling for production,
preparing production schedules for manufacturing of optical
components and assemblies using Epicor MRP system.Lead the
production planning team to effectively execute planning
activities.Ensure each operation meets required completion dates
according to manufacturing plan, sales forecasts, or customer
orders.Establish procedures for demand estimating and production
planning throughout company.Supervise and report actual results
against Master Production Schedule.Analyze production
specifications and plant capacity data.Develop, execute, and
maintain tools as well as techniques required to evaluate impact of
proposed schedule changes.Resolve issues to enhance improvements
associated with inventory flow to maintain production
control.Maintain daily production schedules.Identify forecast
variances and evaluate recovery plans.Responsible for understanding
the Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and
operation according to previously established manufacturing
sequences and lead times.Planning sequence of assembly,
installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of
production workers.Determining the status of assigned projects,
expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to
meet unforeseen conditions.Preparing production reports utilizing
MRP system (Epicor)Plans the process for manufacture, fabrication,
assembly, erection or installation of parts, components,
assemblies, etc.Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to
schedule of production & production support activities, utilizing
information derived from material and production control systems
(Epicor)Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of production
status, & that work planning and execution objectives are
integrated & communicated.Through materials planning coordinates &
expedites the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of
material.Interfaces w/Purchasing, Production, Manufacturing
Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure all material
transactions are accurate and timely.Schedules, expedites, &
coordinates the delivery & movement of critical material, including
material transfers & material releases.Anticipates and resolves
problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities.Ensure
conformance with all quality and governmental requirements. Other
Duties as assigned. You Have:A minimum of 6 years' experience in
recent production planning experience utilizing ERP/MRP in a
manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in business management,
supply chain management, economics or relevant. Master's a
plus!Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent planning and management
skills.Highly skilled with extensive experience with Excel, Epicor
